A huge book regarding math

This book was originally written as a textbook (for a math-for-the-non-mathematician sort course). It will be used joined (though as a textbook it is a bit dated), browse cover-to-cover for edification and pleasure (the vogue may be a bit a lot of educational than the typical fashionable math book), or dipped into here and there for the topics the reader personally finds fascinating. With well over five hundred pages of fairly tiny print, there is a heap here, covering a large style of topics, with (it looks to me) specific stress on history, geometry (of varied kinds), and applications of math to physics. If you peruse the book, you will find some pages of nothing however text, some pages choked with geometrical diagrams, a number of equations and formulas, and even a number of Renaissance paintings (in the discussion on mathematical perspective). With such a lot here, readers can most likely realize some components a lot of fascinating than others--though that components are the fascinating ones is also a matter of private opinion.
