A huge book regarding math

This book was originally written as a textbook (for a math-for-the-non-mathematician sort course). It will be used joined (though as a textbook it is a bit dated), browse cover-to-cover for edification and pleasure (the vogue may be a bit a lot of educational than the typical fashionable math book), or dipped into here and there for the topics the reader personally finds fascinating.
